Parents’ life at coláiste muire
We understand the importance of parents’ participation in their childs’ education, and we always welcome parents to Coláiste Muire.
Parents should feel free to call or make an appointment to speak to the principal or any of the teachers if the need arises..
We have a Parents’ Association in the school who build an important relationship between home & school for all parents and we are very grateful to them for that support.
Parent/Teacher Meetings
Formal Parent/Teacher meetings are held once a year for each year group.
Written reports are sent home at Christmas and in the final term for every student.
3rd Year and 6th Year students have written reports sent home more frequently.
Dialann Scoile
Parents are asked to check and sign the Dialann Scoile each night to ensure their child completes the prescribed homework to the best of their ability and that they bring in the books and copies required each day.
Visiting the School
Parents coming to the school for any reason must come to the office and inform the school authorities of their business in the school. Due to Covid-19 restrictions currently in place, we cannot allow anyone to enter the school without a record of their visit.
