Active and energetic Parent’s association
The educational activities of Coláiste Muire are supported by an energetic and pro-active Parents Association.
The Parents Association meets regularly over the course of the school year, to discuss various means by which the endeavours of the school can be assisted.
Our Parent’s Association aims to:
Communication
Promote communication between parents, college management, teaching staff and students.
Parent input
Facilitate the involvement of parents in the development of college policies, plans and activities.
School improvement
Help, where possible in the improvement of the overall college environment.
fundraising
The Association has been relentless in its provision of financial support through fundraising. This investment has enriched the educational quality and range of resource facilities at the school.
Expert speakers
The Association have organised for experts to speak to parents on a range of issues in order to help their children deal with life issues (e.g. bullying, drugs, study skills, nutrition etc).
