The educational activities of Coláiste Muire are supported by an energetic and pro-active Parents Association. The Parents Association meets regularly over the course of the school year, to discuss various means by which the endeavours of the school can be assisted. The Parents Association works to:
Promote communication between parents, school management, teaching staff and students.
Facilitate the involvement of parents in the development of policies, plans and activities.
Support, where possible in the improvement of the overall college environment.
The Association has been active in its provision of financial support through their investment of time and energy into fundraising. This activity has enriched the range of resource facilities at the school supporting the overall social and academic development of the school community. The Association have organised guest speakers on a range of issues in order to help their children deal with life issues (e.g. bullying, drugs, study skills, nutrition etc).
